Ghost Scalper at a Glance

Market

XAUUSD / Gold.

Platform

MetaTrader 5.

Timeframe

H1 recommended.

Strategy

Selective breakout and momentum trading.

System Structure

Four independently configurable strategies.

Main Concern

Combined exposure when several modules trade together.

What Is Ghost Scalper MT5?

Ghost Scalper is a fully automated Expert Advisor created specifically for trading XAUUSD on MetaTrader 5. It waits for selective breakout and momentum conditions rather than attempting to remain continuously active.

The system combines four independent strategies: Ghost A, Ghost B, Ghost C and Ghost D. Each module has its own entry conditions, trade management and risk settings, and each can be enabled or disabled separately.

Ghost can manage BUY and SELL pending orders, calculate position size and update its breakout entry levels automatically. Activated positions can be managed using Stop Loss, Take Profit, automatic trailing and additional internal monitoring.

Important exposure point: More than one Ghost strategy may trade during the same gold-market movement. The risk assigned to one module does not necessarily represent the maximum exposure of the complete account.

What This Review Covers

Trading Logic

How the four Ghost strategies identify setups and manage pending orders and positions.

Historical Backtests

One-month and six-month MT5 reports using a $1,000 initial deposit.

Risk Comparison

Ghost Scalper’s six-month result compared with the supplied Quantum Queen X report.

Important test context: The historical figures examined in this review come from supplied MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester reports. They should not be treated as expected income or a guarantee of future live-account performance.

How Ghost Scalper Trades Gold

Ghost Scalper is designed to wait for selective breakout and momentum conditions on XAUUSD. It does not need to remain continuously active or force a trade during every market session.

When one of its internal strategies identifies an eligible setup, the EA can calculate an entry level and prepare a BUY or SELL pending order. Pending orders can then be updated automatically as market conditions change.

Ghost Scalper Trading Process

1. Wait

The active Ghost strategies monitor XAUUSD for their required market conditions.

2. Detect

An individual module identifies a qualifying breakout or momentum setup.

3. Place

The EA can calculate position size and prepare a BUY or SELL pending order.

4. Protect

An activated position is managed using Stop Loss, Take Profit and automatic trailing.

5. Monitor

Internal protection continues to monitor the trade and broker execution conditions.

6. Reset

After management is complete, the strategy waits for another eligible setup.

Selective execution is intentional: Ghost may remain without a position for an extended period after startup. This does not necessarily indicate a technical problem—the active modules may simply be waiting for their individual conditions.

Four Independent Ghost Strategies

The EA combines four separately managed strategy modules. Each module has its own entry logic, position management and risk settings.

Ghost A

An independently configurable strategy with its own entries and risk allocation.

Ghost B

Operates separately from Ghost A and can be enabled or disabled by the user.

Ghost C

Uses its own qualifying conditions and trade-management process.

Ghost D

Adds another independent source of potential breakout and momentum entries.

This structure provides strategy diversification within one EA, but it also creates an important risk consideration. More than one Ghost module may identify an opportunity during the same gold-market movement.

Risk applies across the complete portfolio: If several Ghost strategies open positions together, their combined exposure may be substantially higher than the risk assigned to one individual module.

The Ghost Scalper interface displays individual strategy activity alongside profit, drawdown, latency and slippage information.

Position Sizing and Risk Controls

Ghost Scalper provides three money-management methods. The selected method determines how the volume for a new position is calculated.

Fixed Lot

Uses the lot size selected by the trader for each eligible position.

Risk Percent

Calculates position size using a selected percentage-risk setting.

Risk per Balance

Automatically scales the lot size according to the current account balance.

Risk can be configured separately for Ghost A, Ghost B, Ghost C and Ghost D. This flexibility is useful, but the trader must consider the sum of all enabled strategy risks—not only the setting displayed for one module.

Compounding warning: Percentage-based or balance-based sizing can increase position volume as an account grows. It can also increase the size of future losses. Historical growth should not be treated as an expected income projection.

Stop Loss, Take Profit and Trailing Protection

Each activated Ghost Scalper trade can be managed using a broker-side Stop Loss, Take Profit and automatic trailing logic.

Ghost also includes internal protection monitoring. This is designed to account for practical execution issues such as broker Stop Levels, Freeze Levels, slippage, rejected Stop Loss modifications and fast market movements.

Broker-Side Protection

  • Initial Stop Loss
  • Take Profit target
  • Trailing-stop modifications
  • Orders held on the broker server

Internal Monitoring

  • Stop Level awareness
  • Freeze Level awareness
  • Rejected modification handling
  • Execution and slippage monitoring
Protection cannot guarantee the closing price: Internal monitoring can request an action when broker-side modification is unavailable, but gaps, slippage, connection loss and rejected execution requests may still affect the final outcome.
Ghost Scalper automatic XAUUSD order and position management
Ghost Scalper automatically manages eligible entries and active XAUUSD positions according to its configured protection settings.

News and Weekend Protection

Ghost Scalper includes an optional news filter for important USD economic events. New entries can be restricted around events such as NFP, CPI, PCE, FOMC announcements and major United States labor-market releases.

The filter can be disabled, and risk may also be adjusted during particularly volatile news weeks. Pending orders are managed automatically and are intended to be removed before the weekend.

USD News Filter

Can block new entries around selected high-impact economic events.

Pending-Order Cleanup

Pending orders are managed automatically and removed before the weekend.

Volatility Awareness

Traders can reduce strategy risk during unusually volatile market periods.

Filter limitation: News and weekend controls cannot eliminate gaps, slippage or execution risk. Successful protection still depends on correct platform operation, available data and broker response.

Broker Quality and Execution Dashboard

Ghost Scalper does not evaluate broker quality using ping alone. Its dashboard can monitor several factors that influence actual trade execution.

Execution Information

Broker Quality

Combined execution-quality assessment.

Execution Time

Average time taken to process requests.

Slippage

Difference between requested and executed pricing.

Spread

Current XAUUSD transaction-cost condition.

Drawdown

Current account or strategy decline information.

Strategy Activity

Trades and risk attributed to each Ghost module.

The dashboard is available in BIG, SMALL and OFF modes. BIG prioritizes visible trading and execution information. OFF reduces graphical load and may be useful on a VPS running several MetaTrader terminals.

Useful operational feature: Measuring actual execution time and slippage provides more practical information than relying on VPS ping alone. Even so, a positive dashboard rating cannot guarantee identical future fills.

Broker conditions, liquidity, symbol specifications and server location can cause the same EA settings to perform differently across accounts.

Ghost Scalper Backtest Results

We examined two supplied MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester reports: a shorter one-month test and a broader six-month test.

Both reports used XAUUSD on H1, a $1,000 initial deposit and displayed 100% history quality. The six-month report provides the more useful sample because it contains substantially more trades and covers a wider historical period.

Historical evidence only: These reports show how Ghost Scalper performed under the supplied Strategy Tester conditions. They do not reproduce live spreads, slippage, latency, liquidity, rejected orders or every broker-specific XAUUSD condition.

One-Month Ghost Scalper Backtest

The one-month report recorded 122 completed trades. It produced $482.22 in net profit while reporting 0.91% relative equity drawdown.

Short-period limitation: The one-month report is encouraging, but 122 trades over one historical period are not sufficient to establish long-term reliability. The six-month report provides a more meaningful consistency check.

Six-Month Ghost Scalper Backtest

The six-month test expanded the sample to 666 trades. It recorded $2,889.66 in net profit, a 20.65 profit factor and 0.84% relative equity drawdown.

Exceptional drawdown figure: Relative equity drawdown of 0.84% is unusually low for a test that generated $2,889.66 from a $1,000 initial deposit. This result deserves careful independent forward testing under realistic trading costs.

Ghost Scalper retained a similar historical profit factor while the sample expanded from 122 to 666 trades.

What Remained Consistent?

The profit factor remained close to 20 in both tests, while the average losing trade remained unchanged at −$1.11. The longer test also recorded a slightly larger average winner.

Win rate declined from 86.07% to 82.73%, and the maximum sequence of losing trades increased from three to seven. Those changes are reasonable reminders that a larger sample normally reveals more losing activity than a short test.

Most encouraging historical observation: The six-month report retained a strong profit factor across 666 trades rather than relying only on the smaller one-month sample.

Ghost Scalper Versus Quantum Queen X

We also compared Ghost Scalper with Quantum Queen X using their supplied six-month MetaTrader 5 reports.

Both reports showed a $1,000 initial deposit and 100% history quality. However, this was not a perfectly controlled test. Ghost Scalper operated on H1, while Quantum Queen X operated on M1 and displayed automatic lot sizing.

Not a controlled head-to-head test: Different timeframes, sizing methods, strategy structures and execution assumptions can materially influence net profit and drawdown.

  • Higher profit factor
  • More completed trades
  • Stronger recovery factor
  • Smaller average and largest losses

Quantum Queen X

  • Higher reported net profit
  • Slightly higher win rate
  • Higher expected payoff per trade
  • Larger average winning trade
  • Automatic lot sizing displayed

Quantum Queen X six-month MetaTrader 5 backtest report
The Quantum Queen X report recorded $4,403.97 net profit and 69.02% relative equity drawdown.

Backtest Comparison Verdict

Quantum Queen X produced $1,514.31 more net profit and recorded a slightly higher winning percentage. Those are meaningful advantages when considering absolute historical return.

Ghost Scalper, however, reported dramatically lower relative equity drawdown, a substantially higher profit factor, more completed trades and a much stronger recovery factor.

Supplied-Report Verdict

Quantum Queen X produced the higher historical net profit.

Ghost Scalper produced the stronger risk-adjusted result in the supplied six-month reports.

This conclusion applies only to the supplied historical tests. It does not prove that Ghost Scalper will outperform Quantum Queen X under future or live-market conditions.

Installation and First Setup

Install Ghost Scalper through MetaTrader 5 and review every input before enabling automated trading. Confirm the active strategies, money-management method, risk assigned to each module and news-filter settings.

Recommended Environment

  • Symbol: XAUUSD / Gold
  • Timeframe: H1
  • Platform: MetaTrader 5
  • Algo Trading: Enabled
  • Connection: Stable VPS or computer

Before Trading

  • Confirm which Ghost modules are enabled.
  • Select the intended sizing method.
  • Review the risk of every strategy.
  • Check Stop Loss and trailing inputs.
  • Test news and weekend protection.
  • Begin with a demo account.
Do not increase risk because the EA remains inactive: Ghost Scalper is designed to wait for qualifying market conditions. A quiet period does not justify increasing lot size or enabling unnecessary modules simply to force more trades.

Public Live Monitoring

The Ghost Scalper description provides several public MQL5 signals across different accounts and brokers. These can help users observe trading frequency, open exposure, drawdown and execution behaviour outside the Strategy Tester.

Live-signal limitation: Public monitoring may use different settings, balances, risk levels, brokers or software versions. Previous live performance does not guarantee that another account will produce the same result.

Ghost Scalper Frequently Asked Questions

What market does Ghost Scalper trade?

Ghost Scalper is designed specifically for XAUUSD, commonly known as gold, on MetaTrader 5.

Which timeframe should be used?

The supplied recommended setup uses the H1 timeframe. Traders should confirm that the chart symbol and broker specifications match their intended configuration.

How many strategies does Ghost Scalper contain?

It contains four independent modules: Ghost A, Ghost B, Ghost C and Ghost D. Each module has separate entry, management and risk settings.

Does Ghost Scalper trade continuously?

No. It waits for its internal breakout and momentum conditions. Some market periods may pass without an eligible trade.

Can several Ghost strategies trade together?

Yes. Multiple modules may hold positions during the same market movement. Their combined exposure should be considered when setting account risk.

What position-sizing methods are available?

Ghost supports Fixed Lot, Risk Percent and Risk per Balance sizing. Risk settings can be configured separately for each strategy.

Does Ghost Scalper use Stop Loss protection?

The supplied description states that activated trades use Stop Loss and Take Profit protection. The EA also includes trailing and internal monitoring, but these features cannot guarantee the final closing price during gaps or execution problems.

Why is the reported six-month drawdown so low?

The supplied test recorded 0.84% relative equity drawdown. This is an unusually strong historical figure, but the report alone cannot prove that the same drawdown will be maintained with live spreads, slippage and broker execution.

Do the backtests guarantee live profitability?

No. Historical Strategy Tester results cannot guarantee future performance. Live results can differ because of market conditions, trading costs, broker execution, settings and account specifications.

Ghost Scalper Final Verdict

Ghost Scalper presents a well-structured approach to selective XAUUSD trading. Its four independent modules, flexible sizing methods, pending-order management and execution dashboard provide more control than a simple one-strategy gold robot.

The supplied six-month test recorded $2,889.66 in net profit from a $1,000 initial deposit, with 0.84% relative equity drawdown, a 20.65 profit factor and an 82.73% win rate across 666 trades.

Compared with the supplied Quantum Queen X report, Ghost produced less net profit but displayed substantially lower equity drawdown, a higher profit factor, more trades and a much stronger recovery factor.

The main question is whether the unusually low historical drawdown can remain stable under live spreads, slippage, liquidity and broker execution. Combined exposure must also be monitored when several Ghost strategies trade together.

Our Assessment

Ghost Scalper produced an exceptional historical risk-adjusted result and appears worthy of further forward testing. Demo testing, conservative initial risk and careful execution monitoring remain essential.

Spreads, commissions, liquidity, broker execution, account specifications, software versions, data quality and selected settings can materially change results.
